Tomorrows Engineers: Student Spotlight

Caitlin was a student at Fazakerley School when she first came across the Career Ready programme in Engineering. She knew instantly that she was eager to be part of something that would set her up on a path to a great career.

Caitlin is currently studying Quantity Surveying at UCLAN University and believes she wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for the Career Ready course she was a part of at college. She said “The skills I gained while I was on the course not only gave me a wider understanding of the Engineering industry, but more importantly it helped me grow as a person; it allowed me to be more confident in myself and to believe that I was capable of achieving more in my life.”

Caitlin was able to gain practical experience in the Engineering field, an academic path which she never would have considered had it not been for her taking part in the programme.

“Two years ago I had never even thought of doing an Engineering course at University, but I am so thankful for my opportunity on the programme run by Career Ready. If given the opportunity, I would do it all again.”
