At Career Ready we are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students, volunteers, partners and schools.

Every year we offer a number of awards that recognise individuals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to the programme. Nominations for the 2018 Career Ready awards in Scotland are now open and the deadline for all nominations is Thursday 21 December 2017.

Leidos Career Ready Student of the Year Award

The Leidos Career Ready Student of the Year Award - formerly the Sir Winfried Bischoff Award - recognises the students who have made the most progress during their Career Ready experience. This does not mean the best students, or those with the highest academic results, but those who have come furthest on their Career Ready journey. The Leidos award will be presented to one winner for Scotland and one from each of the other UK areas. Each of the UK wide winners will go through to the UK final and two overall UK winners will be selected.

Standard Life Aberdeen Scotland Students of the Year Awards

In addition to the Leidos national award, through the kindness of Standard Life Aberdeen plc, a winner from each area of Scotland will be given a donation to enable them to make purchases that support their post school plans. The donation and a framed certificate will be presented when we celebrate student’s achievements, progress and success at their graduation ceremony in April 2018.
